Who can configure it?

Only account admins and admins can configure short abandon. 


Short Abandons are calls that are abandoned by the caller, usually a short while after the call is made. Abandoned calls are important while calculating the service level. With Freshcaller you can specify the duration for short abandon —


  1. Go to Admin > Numbers 

  2. Hover over the number for which you wish to set short abandon and click on the edit icon




  1. In the right side panel that appears, under Short Abandon specify the threshold in seconds. 




  1. In the Call Metrics tab, you would be able to see which calls were abandoned within the threshold. 


Tip: Make sure that Short Abandon is chosen in the Call Metrics Tab.
