You can port your number to Freshcaller from any existing cloud telephony provider. This way, you don't have to buy a new number and can continue using your old numbers when you move your phone system to Freshcaller. Freshcaller offers free porting for US numbers and porting at a certain fee for other countries.

NOTE: Porting is a process that could take 4-6 weeks and requires coordination between your current carrier and Freshcaller.

Porting from an existing Twilio account:
If you want to port your number from your existing Twilio account to Freshcaller, send an email to email@example.com requesting for number porting in Freshcaller with your current Twilio account SID.
Porting from Google voice:
To port your Google Voice number to Freshcaller, follow these steps:

Send a screenshot of the page in your Google account that shows your number has been unlocked.
Provide a screenshot of your Google Voice account, and make sure the first and last name you provide on the Letter of Authorization match your Google account exactly.
We can initiate the porting process once you send us these details via email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If you face any problems during this process you can always reach out to our support team using the same email address.
Porting from other service providers:
You can port your number from your existing service provider to Freshcaller by following these steps:
Send an email to email@example.com with a request for number porting.
After the document verification, we will add the number to your Freshcaller account and inform you once the porting date is scheduled.
We will let you know once the porting process is completed, after which you would be able to use the number within Freshcaller.
In case of an information mismatch, the porting process will be rejected. In such a scenario we will get back to you with the details and you can make changes accordingly.
