Freshservice is Freshwork's ITSM tool that streamlines your IT service and manages internal requests from your employees. The Freshservice - Freshdesk Contact Center integration comes in handy when the employees of an organization want to immediately seek help over a phone call in case of a system crash or other IT issues.


You can easily integrate and set up your Freshdesk Contact Center account from Freshservice.


User requirements:

You need admin/account admin in both Freshdesk Contact Center and Freshservice accounts to initiate this integration. Make sure that you use the same email address to log in to both accounts.


How to integrate your Freshdesk Contact Center and Freshservice accounts?


  1. Log in Freshservice as admin. 

  2. Go to Admin Settings > Support Channels > Phone.
    You can choose to link your existing Freshdesk Contact Center account with Freshservice or create a new account.

  3. Linking Existing Account
    To link your existing Freshdesk Contact Center account with Freshservice, click Connect Existing Account.
    Enter your Freshdesk Contact Center account URL, email ID, and password, and click Continue. You will see your account linked with Frehservice.
  4. Create New Account
    If you want to create a new Freshdesk Contact Center account, click Create a new account. Your associated account will be automatically created. 

  5. Now that you have your Frehservice and Freshdesk Contact Center accounts integrated, you can associate your existing Freshservice agents as Freshdesk Contact Center agents. Add all agents who need access to the Freshdesk Contact Center widget inside your Freshservice account. For detailed steps, refer to Adding Phone Channel to Freshservice.

  6. Also, click on the Settings in Freshdesk Contact Center option to configure and manage admin-related settings.

If you already have a Freshdesk Contact Center account but use another ITSM tool and wish to try out Freshservice, sign up for a Freshservice account.
